HANDING OVER OF CHAIRMANSHIP OF ASEAN COMMITTEE IN BRASILIA (ACB) FROM INDONESIA TO MALAYSIA
On 8 March 2022, the ASEAN Committee in Brasilia (ACB) held its first meeting of the year at the Indonesian Ambassador’s Residence. The meeting reviewed activities undertaken during Indonesia's Chairmanship from July to December 2021, and discussed activities to be undertaken during the next Chairmanship. Following the meeting, H.E. Edi Yusup, Ambassador of Indonesia to Brazil officially handed over the Chairmanship of ACB to H.E. Datuk Lim Juay Jin, Ambassador of Malaysia to Brazil. As the new Chair of the ACB, Malaysia will continue to promote and strengthen ASEAN-Brazil relations.
