The Ambassador and Datin Zainab hosted the Hari Raya Aidil Adha reception at the Residence on the first day of the Eid
O Embaixador e esposa Datin Zainab , anfitriões da recepção de celebração do Hari Raya Adil Adha na residência , no primeiro dia do Eid.
Malaysians and friends from the ASEAN Embassies together with the families turned in large number to join the celebration as well as to taste the Malaysian delicacies
Malasianos e amigos das Embaixadas da ASEAN e familiares uniram-se em grande número para a celebração bem como para saborear as delícias Malasianas.
Lemang, curry puffs, satay, briyani rice, lontong, …….. etc
Were the main course while…. kuih lapis…. were dessert
Lemang , Curry puffs (pastéis) , satay(churrasquinho) , briyani Rice(arroz colorido) , lontong (sopa) .. etc foram os pratos principais enquanto o kuih Lapis (Bolo colorido) a sobremesa.
Traditional and raya songs and music were played throughout the afternoon in keeping with the Aidil Adha atmosphere
Canções Raya e Músicas tradicionais foram tocadas por toda a tarde em conformidade com a Atmosfera do Aidil Adha .
As part of the Malaysian tradition, duit raya were given to the children….

The get together helps fellow Malaysians forget that they are away from home on this special day. It also helps to bring ASEAN community closer together
