H.E. Datuk Lim Juay Jin and wife, Datin Lin Yi hosted a dinner gathering at the Official Residence on 19 November 2021 as part of the “Program Mendampingi Rakyat Malaysia”. The event provided the Embassy with the opportunity to meet and update the Malaysian diaspora in Brazil on current issues in Brazil and Malaysia including the roles and functions of the Embassy. The guests were treated to a variety of Malaysian delicacies, including sate, lontong, chicken rendang, nasi impit, kuah kacang, kuih karipap, and sago gula melaka. Apart from enjoying the Malaysian food, the event provided an opportunity for all guests to meet their fellow Malaysians.

Mr. Osvaldo de Oliveira Junior, the Embassy's former Communication Officer, was also honoured during the occasion, having recently retired after serving the Embassy for 37 years.
