WORKING LUNCH ON MALAYSIAN TECHNICAL COOPERATION PROGRAMME (MTCP)
On 24 February 2022, H.E. Datuk Lim Juay Jin hosted a working luncheon to brief the officials from the Brazilian Cooperation Agency, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil, on the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) training programmes scheduled for this year, as well as to discuss potential collaborations between Malaysia and Brazil on technical and capacity-building programmes.
Following the working luncheon, H.E. Datuk Lim Juay Jin presented the MTCP certificate to Mr. Fabiano Emidio de Lucena Martins of the Anti-Corruption Division, Federal Police of Brazil, for his participation in the Executive Certificate Course for Strategic Management of Anti-Corruption Programme, organised by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Academy.
Since its establishment in 1980, MTCP continues to emphasize on the development of human resources through the provision of training in various areas which are essential for a country’s development. Annually, Malaysia offered more than 60 technical and capacity-building programmes under the MTCP, which have benefited more than 35,500 participants from 144 countries.
