Royal Brunei Airlines Flies To Kuching Once Again

Royal Brunei Airlines launched flights between Bandar Seri Begawan (BWN) and Kuching (KCH) on 28 December, marking the end of a six-year hiatus for the carrier on the 636-kilometre sector based on OAG Schedules. The operator will serve the new route initially with a twice-weekly frequency (Mondays and Fridays), while from 3 February an extra two weekly flights (Thursdays and Sundays) will be added to the schedule, taking the number of weekly flights operated up to four. Using the carrier’s fleet of 150-seat A320s, the airline will face no direct competition on the route. Kuching was the second new route to be launched by the airline during December, with it having added service to Taipei Taoyuan on 3 December.
