MALAYSIAN COMPANIES PARTICIPATE IN FOOD RETAIL AND FOOD SERVICES EXHIBITION IN MONTREAL
Eight (8) Malaysian companies participated in the Salon International de l'Agroalimentaire - SIAL 2014 exhibition, the largest food show in Canada dedicated to both the food retail and foodservice markets showcasing the North-American agrifood business. The exhibition is also the leading meeting point for the food and beverage industry in North America.
A total of 767 exhibitors and brands from 43 countries, exhibiting on over 200,000 square feet, with some 14,685 visiting professionals took part in the 3 days exhibition which was held in Montreal from 2 to 4 April 2014.
Among notable visitors to Malaysian Pavilion include Honourable François Gendron, Deputy Premier of Quebec and Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
