Reception hosted by High Commission of Malaysia on Malaysia's candidacy for the ICAO Council Part III for the term 2025-2028
On 13 November 2024, CDA a.i. Mr. Mohammad Al Hafiz bin Mohd Nadzir hosted a reception at Sheraton Hotel in Ottawa to advance Malaysia's candidacy for a seat on the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council, Part III, for the term 2025-2028.
The event commenced with a warm welcome from CDA a.i., followed by an insightful address from Malaysia’s Permanent Representative to ICAO, Ms. Flora Chin Lee Sa. She outlined Malaysia's vision for the future of global aviation and presented the country’s strategic plans in support of its candidacy.
The reception was attended by approximately 50 guests, including Heads of Missions and Permanent Representatives to ICAO, underscoring the strong international support for Malaysia's efforts in shaping the future of aviation.
