The High Commissioner was invited to give an opening remark entitled "Capitalising on the CPTPP"
On 16 May 2023, H.E. Datin Paduka Siti Hajjar Adnin was invited to give an opening remark for an event to promote Canada-Malaysia Business entitled "Capitalising on the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP)". The event was organised by Canada-ASEAN Initiatives of York University and Malaysia-Canada Business Council (MCBC).
H.E. Datin Paduka stressed on the importance of Canada as an important partner for Malaysia especially in business, trade, and investment sectors. Other officials present during the event were Ms. Aida Safinaz Allias, Minister (Economic Affairs) of MITI; Ms. Nyaee Ayup, Trade Commissioner; and Mr. Nelson Samuel, Director of MIDA.
