Malaysia and the United States jointly organised a Workshop on Reports on Biological Weapons Convention (BWC)-relevant developments by international experts.
The purpose of this workshop was to inform States Parties about recent developments relating to national implementation, cooperation and assistance, preparedness and response, and science and technology; and to exchange ideas about their relevance to the Convention.
The workshop was attended by more than 50 delegations and presented a cross-regional range of experts.
