From 25-28 August, the Chargé d'Affaires joined the Malaysian delegation from NARC and @YPASM14 at the XXXVIII SCAR Delegates Meeting in Punta Arenas, Chile. Key topics covered updates on scientific research programs, the election of new SCAR leadership, and strategies to strengthen global partnerships in polar science. We were also pleased to welcome Colombia as the latest full member of SCAR. Malaysia remains committed to contributing to Antarctic research and working together with the global community.
