REMINDER

Visiting other countries can be a great experience. Whether you are traveling for work or pleasure, solo or in a group, staying for a few days or several years, planning ahead can help ensure your time abroad is both enjoyable and safe. No matter where you plan to travel, make sure you get informed about your destination, get all the required travelling documents ready with extra copies if possible, get yourself insured for medical or other unexpected expenses, check latest news on local safety and security conditions and areas to avoid during your stay, aware of entry and exit regulations,  understand local laws and culture, take note of possible health or natural hazards including health restrictions, and lastly where to find the nearest Malaysian Missions overseas while you are travelling abroad. Please check for your destination information at least twice: once when you are planning your trip, and again shortly before you leave. Safety and security conditions may change between the date you book your travel and your departure date.

 

STATUS OF IMMIGRATION CONTROL FOR MALAYSIAN BLACKLIST (SSPI)

  • Please visit the OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF DEPARTMENT OF IMMIGRATION MALAYSIA  for further information. 
  • If using the Play Store app (Android) can search the myIMIv2 App  keyword 
  • For travel abroad, travel status checks can be made using kiosk machines provided at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA and KLIA2) and they are before the check-in counter. 
  • Ensure the free from any restrictions of such agencies;   
  1. Inland Revenue Board (IRB), 
  2. Insolvency department, National Registration Department (NRD), 
  3. Employees Provident Fund (EPF), 
  4. Royal Malaysian Customs (Business tax), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), 
  5. The Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM), 
  6. National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN), 
  7. Court Order; and In addition, 
  8. if it is necessary, the individual may refer to the Immigration Department of Malaysia
  • The decision by the Immigration Officer at the time of release is FINAL.
  • For Non-Citizens / Permanent Residents terms of return are as follows; 
  1. The non-Citizen shall ensure that a valid Passport is issued to him and still has a valid period. 
  2. Permanent Residents shall ensure that there is a special safety stamp of the entrance permit.

DEPARTURE CONDITION

The requirements for the departure of international travel for Malaysian citizens child are as follows;

1.A valid passport and not less than six (6) months.

2.Must be accompanied by her parents or one of her parents.

The condition if the parent is divorced or is in the process of being divorced or in the process of claiming child custody in Court.

1.Having a written permission from his parents or a parent or his father.

2.There is no barrier (injunction) by the Court Order.

Note: Articles 3 and 4 are not to be held accountable to the Immigration Department of Malaysia if one of the parties whether the parent does not inform with respect to the obstacles of the Court.

 

ASSISTANCE TO MALAYSIAN ABROAD

Malaysian abroad is entitled to seek help from Malaysian Missions overseas in the following situations:

 

1. Lost of Passport

2. Arrest or Detention

3. Attestation of Documents

4. Death

5. Victim of Crime

6. Crisis (e.g. Natural Disaster)

7. Missing Person

8. General Consular Assistance
