MALAYSIA IN BEIJING “HONOURING OUR PARTNER”, 13 DECEMBER 2024

On 13 December 2024, the Embassy of Malaysia hosted an appreciation event held at the Embassy of Malaysia in Beijing.

This event was held to acknowledge the Embassy’s partners’ contribution in assisting the Embassy to cruise through the busy year particularly as Malaysia and China are celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations this year.

More than 200 Embassy’s partners consisting of the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce in China (MAYCHAM), Media, Students, the Malaysian Diaspora, Friends of Malaysia, and service providers attended the event.

The Embassy also bids farewell to Ms. Christine Zhang Ying, the long-served Local Recruited Staff of the Embassy of Malaysia who will be retiring soon, and Mr. Hadzizi Noor Shahidan, First Secretary of MATRADE office who will be starting his new assignment in Warsaw at the end of this year.

At the end of the event, Ambassador Norman presented certificates of appreciation to the media to thank their tireless contribution and support to the Embassy throughout the year.
