On 4 March 2024, Ambassador Norman Muhamad hosted an Appreciation Dinner for the Malaysian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (MAYCHAM China) to thank the Chamber’s invaluable contributions and support to the Embassy throughout the years. 

MAYCHAM China incorporated formally in China on August 19, 2003, is a non-profit social organization coordinated voluntarily by Malaysian corporations and individuals within the territory of China.  The main objective of MAYCHAM CHINA is to promote trade and exchange between China and Malaysia and further facilitate and strengthen the economic relationship between the two countries.

 

Mr. Loh Wee Keng, Chairman of MAYCHAM and other 19 members of MAYCHAM member attended the event. The dinner was also attended by the Head of Missions and officers from the Embassy.
