Thursday, 6 January 2022-  Mr Ali Saad Al-Hajri, the new Consul-General of Qatar in Hong Kong paid an introductory call on CG of Malaysia Yap Wei Sin in his office. Having established diplomatic ties in 1974, Malaysia and Qatar enjoy strong relations and have cooperated successfully in various bilateral and multilateral areas of common interest. Both CGs reaffirmed the friendship between the Malaysian and Qatari Consulates-General in the city, and CG Yap wished his Qatari colleague every success in his assignment in Hong Kong.
