Meeting with Mr Rex Auyeung Pak-kuen, MTR Chairman and Visit to West Kowloon MTR station / HSR terminus
Wednesday, 15 December 2021 - Consul-General of Malaysia Yap Wei Sin joined The Malaysian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong & Macau (MAYCHAM) delegation led by MAYCHAM Chairman Dato' Gan Kai Choon on a visit to the Hong Kong MTR West Kowloon Station.
The 26km High Speed Rail (Hong Kong Section) runs from West Kowloon, connecting Hong Kong with Mainland China’s national high-speed rail network. The line takes 14 minutes from West Kowloon to Futian station in Shenzhen, then up north to Guangzhou.
The delegation met with MTR Corporation Ltd Chairman Mr Rex Auyeung, CEO Mr Jacob Kam and their team, and were briefed on the MTR’s business and operations, including its Rail Plus Property Model, and its High Speed Rail service. The Chairman hosted the delegation to lunch after the visit.
