MALAYSIA-HONG KONG ISLAMIC FINANCE ROUNDTABLE, 13 JANUARY 2025

On 13 January 2025, Consul General Muzambli Markam participated in the Malaysia - Hong Kong Islamic Finance Roundtable, alongside with Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar, Chairman of the Malaysia International Islamic Financial Centre (MIFC), Tan Sri Andrew Sheng, a Hong Kong-based Malaysian former central banker and various stakeholders from the public and private sectors in Malaysia and Hong Kong.
During the two-hour session, panelists deliberately exchanged insights on viable cooperation between Malaysia - Hong Kong in the areas of Islamic Finance, altogether catalyse Hong Kong’s potential as an international financial center, Super Connector and Super Value Adder of the region.
