Advise for all Malaysians planning to return to Guangxi or Guizhou
CONSULATE GENERAL OF MALAYSIA
The Consulate General of Malaysia would like to express our concern on the situation of all Malaysians who are employed or doing business in China and unable to return due to worldwide travel restrictions that are not the faults of their own.
The Consulate, based on the instruction issued by the Government of Malaysia has no qualms over the return of Malaysians who are working in China to return and resume their duties here. Nonetheless, it is important to note that the entry procedures for all foreigners into China are subject to the approval of the Chinese Central Government in Beijing.
Bearing this in mind, the Consulate would like to advise all Malaysians planning to return to Guangxi or Guizhou either for working or studying purposes to seek the approval of the Government of China via the Chinese Embassy in Kuala Lumpur, as well as to discuss with their respective employers or education institutions to make special arrangements with the Central Chinese Government for their safe and timely return to China.
