On October 16^th, Consul General Mr. Azlimi Zakaria joined a working visit to Fangchenggang City, Qinzhou City and Beihai City as a familiarization trip of Pan Beibu Gulf in Guangxi. The working visit was co-organized by Office on Planning, Development and Management of the Beibu Gulf Economic Zone and Guangxi Foreign Affairs Office from 16 to 18 October following the conclusion of the 11^th Pan-Beibu Gulf Economic Cooperation Forum & 2020 Beibu Gulf International Gateway Cooperation Summit at Nanning, Guangxi.

During the trip, the diplomatic corps also had courtesy meetings with local government leaders from Fangchenggang, Qinzhou and Beihai respectively. Apart from the missions based in Nanning, also present at the visit were officials from the Consulate General of Poland and Russia in Guangzhou.
