The 62^nd Malaysia Day and the 51^st Anniversary of Malaysia-China Diplomatic Relations were celebrated at the Kempinski Hotel, Suzhou, Jiangsu on 13 September 2025. The event was attended by over 300 guests, including Malaysians residing in Jiangsu and Zhejiang, members of the business community, and friends of Malaysia.

 

Consul General, Mr. Mohd Shahafeez Shaharis addressed the event, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a harmonious community and the spirit of muhibbah. He also commended Malaysians abroad for their sacrifices in pursuing their dreams and highlighted their role as "mini ambassadors" in fostering connections with the host country.

 

Guests enjoyed a variety of Malaysian and Chinese cuisines, as well as cultural performances by Malaysian students.
