COURTESY CALL ON DIRECTOR-GENERAL OF SHANGHAI FAO
On 28 August 2025, the Consul General of Malaysia, Mr. Mohd Shahafeez Shaharis paid a courtesy call on the Director-General of Shanghai Foreign Affairs Office, Ms. Ma Yinghui.
During the meeting, Ms. Ma welcomed Mr. Shahafeez as the new Malaysian Head of Mission in Shanghai, and provided an overview of the city’s socio-economic development. Both sides further engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest, including high-level visits, protocol and consular issues.
Also present were the Director of the Consular Affairs Department, Mr. Liang Lei, and Director of the Asian and Oceanian Division, Mr. Zhou Guorong.
