FOREIGN CONSULS’ VISIT TO WUHU
The Consul General, Mr. Mohd Shahafeez Shaharis and representatives from other foreign Consulates General in Shanghai were invited by the Foreign Affairs Office of Wuhu Municipal People’s Government to visit Wuhu City, Anhui Province from 3 to 5 September 2025.
During the visit, the delegation engaged in productive discussions on matters of mutual interest with the Mayor of Wuhu cum Deputy Secretary of Wuhu Municipal Party’s Committee, Mr. Xu Zhi. Guests also had an opportunity to visit Conch Group, a prominent Wuhu-based conglomerate, specializing in the cement and building materials sector. Additionally, they were brought to tour the Wuhu Industrial Innovation Hall which showcases the city’s industrial progression.
