On 30 June 2025, the Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai attended the MPOC China 23^rd anniversary and industry engagement organized by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (MPOC) Shanghai Office led by its Chief Representative, Ms. Demi Wang. The event was also attended by more than 60 palm oil industry players.

 

In the speech, the Consulate emphasized the crucial role of MPOC China in arranging marketing promotion, analyzing trends in consumer demand changes and policy adjustments, as well as engaging with Chinese stakeholders to increase the visibility and recognition of Malaysian palm oil in the Chinese market. The Consulate also stressed the need to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.
