On 10 May 2025, the Consulate General was invited to attend the Opening Ceremony of Huzhou Future Conference held at Longemont Convention Center, Huzhou, Zhejiang province. Secretary of the Huzhou Municipal Party Committee, Mr. Chen Hao; and Mayor of Huzhou, Mr. Lian Kunming addressed the event, updating guests on the city’s current development in various fields including new energy vehicles and key components, semiconductors, biomedicine, high-end equipment and other manufacturing industries, and agriculture.

The event was also attended by representatives of embassies and consulates in Beijing and Shanghai, international organizations, relevant heads of universities and research institutes, as well as business associations.
