THE 3RD ASEAN-CHINA CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT COOPERATION
The Consulate General was honoured to be invited to attend and deliver an Opening Remarks at the 3rd ASEAN-China Conference on Sustainable Development Cooperation on 11 May 2025 at Nanxun Dielai Hotel, Nanxun District, Huzhou City.
The conference aimed to deepen friendly exchanges and advance mutually beneficial cooperation between China and ASEAN Member States in thriving industries such as digital transformation, artificial intelligence, renewable energy, green infrastructure and new energy vehicles.
More than 200 representatives from diplomatic offices of ASEAN Member States in Beijing and Shanghai, Chinese local governments, international organizations and business associations participated at the conference.
Nanxun District Leader, Mr. Yang Guozhi; Vice Mayor of Huzhou Municipal People’s Government, Mr. Zheng Xinyou; Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Affairs of Zhejiang Provincial People's Government, Mr. Wang Hongwei; and Secretary General of the ASEAN-China Centre, Mr. Shi Zhongjun also addressed the event.
The agenda continued with guest speeches, where one of the speakers was the Vice President of the Malaysia-China Chamber of Commerce, YBhg. Dato’ Joseph Lim Heng Ee; as well as Nanxun Dialogue, that featured the President of China-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce (MayCham China), Mr. Loh Wee Keng as one of the panelists.
