TOUR TO QINGDAO
The Consulate General of Malaysia in Shanghai was invited to join a tour to Qingdao, which was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China (MFA) and Qingdao Municipality, Shandong Province for selected foreign consulates general in Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu on 23-26 June 2025. The program aimed to provide a better understanding to the guests on the economic and social development in China, especially in Qingdao.
Guests were brought to visit the automated container terminal at Qingdao Port, Haier's headquarters, Qingdao Civic Center, Hai Tian Center, Qingdao International Conference Center and Dongmaiyao Village. Guests also paid a courtesy call on the Mayor of Qingdao, Mr. Ren Gang, and had an engagement session with MFA and Qingdao FAO.
