International Cultural Expo was held in Dunhuang, Gansu Province, from September 20 to September 23, 2025, under the theme of “Strengthening Cultural Exchanges and Promoting Mutual Learning among Civilizations.” The event attracted over 1,200 guests from 97 countries and 8 international organizations and featured exhibitions, performances, forums, and cultural tourism experiences.

The Malaysian Consulate General, led by Consul General Mr. Lum Wan Liang and Vice Consul Ms. Fatin Adiba Binti Mohamad Prim Nasir, actively participated, showcasing Malaysian specialties like coffee and chocolate in a dedicated exhibition zone. The delegation also visited local attractions such as the Mogao Caves and Crescent Lake/Mingsha Mountain, gaining insights into mural art, heritage conservation, and tourism development. Overall, Malaysia's participation highlighted its cultural vibrancy, strengthened people-to-people exchanges, and enhanced its friendship with China.
