Courtesy Call by Ningxia Foreign Affairs Office Director-General Ms. Bai Yuzhen
On 17 October 2025, Ms. Bai Yuzhen, the Director-General of the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region Foreign Affairs Office (FAO), paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Lum Wan Liang, the Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an.
During the meeting, both parties discussed ways to strengthen cooperation and engagement between the Consulate and the Ningxia FAO for the upcoming year. Ms. Bai expressed interest in exploring collaborative programs for 2026, focusing on cultural exchange, tourism promotion, and economic cooperation. The Consulate welcomed this proposal and reaffirmed its commitment to enhancing bilateral relations with Ningxia, particularly in fostering people-to-people connections, educational partnerships, and trade links.
