Malaysia has taken a significant step forward in enhancing its tourism partnership with China by launching the Visit Malaysia Year (VMY) 2026 campaign and the Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H) program at an event in Lanzhou, China. This launch took place on July 26, 2025, and was officiated by the Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture, Dato’ Seri Tiong King Sing. Ms. Fatin Adiba Mohamad Prim Nasir represented the Consul General during the event. This initiative is part of Malaysia’s long-term strategy to improve its connectivity with China and to establish enduring cultural and tourism ties between the two countries.
