Experiencing New Shaanxi and Exploring New Opportunities, Yulin & Yan'an
The Foreign Affairs Office of Shaanxi Province hosted the consular corps event titled “Experiencing New Shaanxi and Exploring New Opportunities” in Yulin and Yan’an from 15 - 18 July 2026. Ms. Fatin Adiba Mohamad Prim Nasir, the Vice Consul of the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an, represented consulate office at this event. The purpose of the event was to enhance mutual learning, foster cooperation, and deepen exchanges between Shaanxi Province and the consulates general, foreign enterprises, and organizations based in the region.
In Yulin, the tour of the energy and chemical industries highlighted the province's advancements in sustainable energy and innovative technologies. The light textile industry visit showcased Shaanxi’s rich textile heritage and its modern production capabilities, while the agricultural sector offered insights into local farming practices and crop varieties.
In Yan'an, the focus shifted to the apple production sector, which is renowned in the region. Delegates learned about advanced agricultural techniques and quality control measures that contribute to the success of apple cultivation. The exploration of rural tourism industries illustrated the potential for attracting visitors to experience the rich cultural history and natural beauty of the area.
