The Malaysia-China Higher Education Exchange Seminar and Inauguration Ceremony of the National University of Malaysia (UKM) Alumni Association China
The Malaysia-China Higher Education Exchange Seminar and Inauguration Ceremony of the National University of Malaysia (UKM) Alumni Association China Chapter was held on 25 September 2025 at the Consulate General of Malaysia in Xi’an. The event aimed to strengthen cooperation in higher education between Malaysia and China and to promote networking among UKM alumni based in China.
The Consul General of Malaysia in Xi’an, Mr. Lum Wan Liang, was present to extend his support and deliver welcoming remarks. Representatives from UKM introduced various academic programmes and research initiatives, while participants engaged in discussions on potential partnerships and student exchange opportunities.
The programme featured presentations by UKM representatives highlighting the university’s diverse academic offerings, research excellence, and international student opportunities. It also served as a platform to engage with local students and educational partners in Xi’an who expressed keen interest in exploring study opportunities in Malaysia.
