The China (Shaanxi) Pilot Trade Zone, 1 April 2017
The China (Shaanxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone was unveiled on 1 April 2017. The pilot zone, which covers a total area of almost 120 kilometers is one of seven new Free Trade Zones approved by the State Council of the People’s Republic of China. The Free Trade Zone is aimed at enhancing economic and cultural cooperation with countries and regions involved in the Belt and Road Initiative.
