Auf Wiedersehen Dato' and Datin
The Embassy’s personnel bid farewell to H.E. Dato’ Zulkifli Adnan and his wife, Datin Siti Hawa Othman upon completion of their tenure in Germany.
Dato’ Zulkifli served as Ambassador of Malaysia to Germany from May 2015 until October 2017. During his tenure, Dato’ Zulkifli oversaw many high level ministerial and senior government officials’ visits to Germany, the most important of course being the successful visit of the Malaysian Prime Minister to Germany in September 2016. As the Patron of Malaysia Club Berlin, he hosted many get-togethers and mooted the idea for the Club to organize various fascinating events among others “An Evening with Elias David Moncado – A Malaysian Young Talent (Violinist)”, as well as “A Taste of Malaysia”, a heritage food promotional activity by a Malaysian Celebrity Chef, Associate Professor Dr. Shahrim Ab Karim, with collaboration of the Ritz-Carlton Berlin.
Dato’ Zulkifli and Datin Siti Hawa left Germany on 9 October 2017 for their next assignment in Singapore. "Auf Wiedersehen – Until We Meet Again”.
