Calfield Sdn. Bhd. Pens a Deal with PT Herfinta Farms & Plantation, EnviTec Biogas AG
H.E. Ambassador witnessed the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Calfield Sdn. Bhd. (Malaysia), PT Herfinta Farm & Plantation (Indonesia) and Envitec Biogas AG (Germany) at the Marriott Hotel Berlin on 18 January 2017. Also present at the signing ceremony was the Ambassador of Indonesia to Germany.
Under the MoU, Calfield, PT Herfinta and EnviTec will execute a joint venture in relation to the operation of PT Power Energi Nusantara Indonesia, a Joint Venture Company specially incorporated to develop and operate the biogas power plant. PT Power Energi Nusantara Indonesia has recently received the approval of Indonesia’s Investment Coordination Board (“BKPM”) to commence its venture into the biogas sector with an approved initial investment of IDR 199 billion in North Sumatra, Indonesia.
