Control, prevention and protocols released by Ministry of Health Malaysia in regards of Omicron (B. variant 1.1.259) worldwide effective 8 Dec 2021
Following the infection of the Omicron (B. variant 1.1.259) worldwide some new control, prevention and protocols have been updated effective 8 December 2021. The new protocol in force is:
1. Malaysian travelers and long-term passport holders arriving from countries under temporary travel restrictions
2. Travelers from countries reporting Omicron variant infection
3. Langkawi Island International Tourism Bubble
4. Complete Vaccine Travel Route Through Air Between Malaysia-Singapore (VTL-Air and VTL-Land)
Short Term Business Visitors (STBT) entering Malaysia through the One Stop Centre (OSC) platform provided by MIDA
