The EA seminar entitled "Chances for Germany Startups: Malaysia as a Gateway to ASEAN" was held at the Embassy of Malaysia in Berlin on 29 August 2019. The seminar focused on the advantages and opportunities presented by the Malaysian Digital Hub as a platform to penetrate the larger ASEAN Market. In her speech, H.E. Amb. Datin Sarah Albakri Devadason highlighted that Malaysia stands ready to assist interested businesses to venture into the regional market through Malaysia’s world-class infrastructure, high digital penetration rate, in tandem with the guidance of government agencies such as the Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) and the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC).
