Malaysian Contingent Performed Admirably at the Yonex German Junior International Champioship 2017
The the Yonex German Junior International Championships took place at Sportsforum Berlin on 9-12 March 2017. The Malaysian contingent comprising 11 youth players and coaches from the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) participated in the championship, which pitted them against contingent from more than 20 other countries around the world.
At the end of the championship, the Malaysian contingent came out triumphant in the mixed doubles category. Chang Yee Jun and Tan Koong Le emerged as champions after defeating Japanese pair Kubota Yunosuke and Iwanaga Rin 21-16, 21-16.
