PRESENTATION OF LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO THE PRESIDENT OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY
On 8 February 2023, Her Excellency Dr. Adina Kamarudin, Ambassador of Malaysia to the Federal Republic of Germany presented her Letter of Credence to His Excellency Mr. Frank- Walter Steinmeier, President of the Federal Republic of Germany. The Ceremony was held at the Bellevue Palace in Berlin and lasted for 25 minutes.
Diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Germany were established on 31 August 1957. Since then, the excellent bilateral relations were reflected in various areas such as political, social and cultural fields. Significant progress was also made in the field of bilateral trade and investments. Malaysia is now one of the main trading partners for Germany in Southeast Asia.
