Visit to Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology
On 12 February 2020, H.E. Amb. Datin Sarah Al Bakri Devadason and members of the Parliamentary Select Committee on the Budget undertook a visit to Fraunhofer Institute for Production Systems and Design Technology. Fraunhofer IPK is one of the leaders in Germany in applied research and development across the whole process spectrum of manufacturing industry – from product development, production processes, maintenance of investment goods, and product recycling to the design and management of manufacturing companies.
he delegation wes received by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Holger Kohl, Deputy Director of Fraunhofer IPK who gave a presentation on the overview of Fraunhofer’s domestic and global operations. A constructive discussion ensued on potential collaboration with Malaysian Institutions.
