ASEAN Day 2024
On 28 October 2024, the 57th ASEAN Day was held at the Maritim ProArte Hotel, Berlin. The event was hosted by the Embassy of Cambodia in Berlin in the capacity of the current Chair of the Berlin ASEAN Committee (BAC).
The event was attended by approximately 130 people from ASEAN embassies in Berlin, ASEAN Dialogue Partner’s representatives and officials of the Federal Foreign Office of Germany.
The ASEAN Day celebration highlighted the diverse cultures of ASEAN member countries through culinary showcases and arts, which helps educate others regrading Southeast Asia’s cultural richness. Guests were introduced and reminded of a sense of unity and community among ASEAN nationals.
The Embassy utilised the opportunity presented at the celebration to announce Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship 2025.
