INFORMATION ON ENTRY RESTRICTIONS AND
QUARANTINE REGULATIONS IN GERMANY
The Consulate General wishes to inform that the Federal Foreign Office of Germany has announced the latest update on entry and quarantine requirements for travelers.
Effective 30 March 2021, all travelers flying into Germany are required to have a negative COVID 19 test before boarding. The change is regardless of the virus risk level in the country of origin.
The following link provides guidelines on test requirement prior to entry, entry restrictions, digital entry registration and quarantine regulations.

Germany maintains the list of entry restrictions implemented since 2 July 2020. Other than German citizens, only EU citizens, EU residents, and residents of certain specific countries are permitted to enter. Malaysia is not included.
