Celebrating Malaysia Day in the heart of Algiers! 🇲🇾🇩🇿 On the occasion of Malaysia Day, the Embassy of Malaysia in Algiers organised a special cultural outreach program inspired by the iconic Keretapi Sarong initiative. Led by His Excellency Ambassador Datuk Rizany Irwan alongside the Director General of Metro El Djazaïr, the Malaysian diaspora joined by students from Algeria and Tunisia journeyed from Tafourah to Grande Poste to Place des Martyrs station. Decked in traditional Malaysian attire and sarongs, our community filled the metro with patriotic songs, wave after wave of the Jalur Gemilang, and chants of "Merdeka!"
