68th National Day of Malaysia, Malaysia Day and Armed Forces Day
On 8 October 2025, the Embassy of Malaysia in Cairo hosted a reception to commemorate the 68th National Day of Malaysia, Malaysia Day and Armed Forces Day
The event was graced by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply of the Arab Republic of Egypt, as the Representative of the Government of Egypt.
The celebration was attended by Egyptian officials, members of the diplomatic corps, corporate representatives, the business community, and friends of Malaysia, reflecting the strong and enduring ties between Malaysia and Egypt.
Guests were treated to a taste of Malaysia with a selection of authentic Malaysian delicacies such as satay and rendang with pulut kuning, specially prepared to tantalise the taste buds. The evening also featured an energetic Pencak Silat performance during the opening, showcasing Malaysia’s rich cultural heritage.
