MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE MADRID BAR ASSOCIATION (ICAM)

On 12 May 2026, H.E. Haznah Md Hashim, Ambassador of Malaysia to Spain, met with Mr Eugenio Ribón Seisdedos, President of the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM), at the ICAM headquarters in Madrid. The meeting focussed on exploring potential collaboration, especially in the fields of legal services and arbitration. During the discussion, H.E. Ambassador highlighted Malaysia’s prominence as a hub for alternative dispute resolution, notably as the host of the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC). Both parties expressed keen interest in strengthening professional ties to facilitate trade and investment relations between Malaysia and Spain.
