Briefing at the Finnish Cultural Foundation
Had the opportunity to get a glimpse of the Finnish Cultural Foundation and the good work they are doing in supporting research of arts as well as fostering & developing a a national Finnish intellectual & economic culture.
Malaysians currently working / conducting research / associated with Finnish universities / companies may wish to apply if you have project which entwines both Finnish and Malaysian culture.
The grants are available to foreign citizens and they need not be residing in Finland.
In view of the liberal manner by which these Institutes are disbursing their funds, Malaysian could take advantage for the benefit of the arts and cultural scene in the country. In a manner, it would also help promote cultural diplomacy, without having to worry about funds.
