Amb. John attended the High–Level Conference on Advancing Gender Equality through (Feminist) Foreign Policy at the House of Estates. FM Haavisto was present to deliver the Opening Remarks. An informative and robust session, which not only discussed the definition of feminism, the findings on how Finland has advanced gender equality through its foreign policy, but also the challenges faced in putting forward this agenda not merely at the side-lines of meetings, but as a core subject of discussion.
