H.E. DATO MOHD ZAMRUNI KHALID PRESENTED LETTERS OF CREDENCE TO THE PRESIDENT OF PORTUGAL – 17 JANUARY 2022
His Excellency Dato' Mohd. Zamruni Khalid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Malaysia presented his letters of credence to His Excellency President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa of Portugal on Monday, 17 January 2022 at the Palácio Nacional da Ajuda. His Excellency was accompanied by Mr. Syed Nizamuddin Sayed Khassim, First Secretary at the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris.
HE Dato' Mohd. Zamruni Khalid, who is Malaysia's Ambassador to France, is also accredited to Portugal. There were five (5) other non-resident Ambassadors that presented their credentials on the same day; from Bosnia Herzegovina, Sri Lanka, Jamaica, El Salvador and Ecuador.
Prior to the ceremony, His Excellency had a meeting with Mr. Álvaro Mendonça e Moura, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Portugal and Mrs. Clara Nunes dos Santos, Chief of Protocol at the Palácio das Necessidades, the Portuguese Foreign Ministry.
