What is needed to apply for Authorization to Marry a French Citizen: · Birth Certificate (translated to French) · Statutory Declaration · Marital Status Letter · Certificate de Celibat · Certificate de Coutume Procedure: i). Before the Embassy of Malaysia can deliver you a ‘Certificate de Celibat’ and the ‘Certificate de Coutume, you will need to obtain a Statutory Declaration. ii). The Statutory Declaration can be obtained from the Commissioner of Oath in Malaysia or at the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris. iii). Once the Statutory Declaration has been acquired, the original copy has to be sent to the Marriage and Divorce Department in Putrajaya in order to obtain the Marital Status Letter. If he/she is Muslim, he/she or his/her member of the family will have to go to the Islamic Department at his/her country to get the “Application for Permission to Marry”. iv). After receiving the Marital Status Letter, it has to be legalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Putrajaya. v). After that, you can send the document by post or in person to the Embassy of Malaysia in Paris. There will be a charge of EUR10 for the Certificate de Celibat and Certificate de Coutume. If you prefer to send by post, please include postal charges. vi). When all these steps have been achieved, the Embassy will be able to issue the Certificat of Celibat and the Certificat of Coutume. 5. Can I request the Embassy to translate my birth certificate? Apakah Prosedur Mengundi di Luar Negara? · Sebelum Pilihanraya: 1. Pendaftaran pemilih di luar negara boleh dilakukan melalui Pejabat Kedutaan Malaysia. 2. Borang Pendaftaran Pemilih iaitu Borang A telah dibekalkan oleh SPR kepada semua Pejabat Kedutaan Malaysia di mana borang pendaftaran yang telah lengkap bolehlah dihantar terus kepada Ibupejabat SPR di Putrajaya atau melalui Pejabat Perwakilan Malaysia ke pejabat SPR melalui beg diplomatik. 3. Kakitangan yang bertugas di Pejabat Perwakilan Malaysia juga adalah bertanggungjawab untuk menandatangani ruangan saksi selaku Saksi dan Penolong Pendaftar pada Borang A yang dibekalkan. 4. Pemilih yang telah mendaftar di luar negara boleh membuat semakan status pemilih dalam laman web SPR di http://www.spr.gov.my 5. Tempoh maksimum untuk mengesahkan status pemilih adalah selama 5 bulan. 6. Bagi kategori pengundi luar negara, mereka yang layak mengundi adalah: i) Kakitangan awam dan pasangan kakitangan awam yang bekerja di luar negara ii) Pelajar sepenuh masa dan pasangan pelajar sepenuh masa yang menuntut di luar negara (tajaan Kerajaan atau sendiri) 7. Sewaktu Pilihan raya dijalankan, pemilih luar negara akan menerima kertas undi lebih awal daripada pemilih awam di Malaysia. Kertas undi yang diterima oleh pengundi luar negara boleh dipangkah pada bila-bila masa dan di mana-mana sahaja.
