1) REGISTRATION OF MALAYSIANS ABROAD

Malaysians abroad are advised to register their whereabouts with the nearest Malaysian Representative Office abroad. This is intended to help the Malaysian Representative Office provide appropriate assistance in the event of any disaster/emergency.

Registration of Malaysians abroad can be done online by visiting the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at www.kln.gov.my and clicking on the e-Consular service link or through the mobile application.

Visiting the UK on a short-term basis (less than one month)
1. Send an email to lonmalaysian@kln.gov.my
2. State in the subject of the email the date of your last day in the UK followed by your name in the following format YYYYMMDD NAME. For example 20240805 ABU BIN ALI, if the last day of stay in the UK is 5th August 2024 and your name is Abu bin Ali.
3. In the body of the email, state your name and family members (if travelling with family),NRIC number, Passport Number, address in the UK, contact number and period of stay in the UK.
4. State also the name of your next of kin, telephone number and relation.
Residing in or Visiting the UK for more than one month
1. Register your presence in the UK via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’s e-Konsular via webpage or mobile app.
2. Via webpage, go to https://ekonsular.kln.gov.my and follow the manual for instructions available here; or
3. Via the ekonsular Malaysia mobile app, download the app and register.
For Malaysian Students
1. Register using the Ministry of Higher Education’s registration platform

Malaysians in the UK who have already registered in the TalentCorp MyHeart portal are regarded as having registered with the High Commission of Malaysia, London. No further action is required.
2) TRAVEL ADVISORY FOR TRAVELLERS VISITING MPOX AFFECTED COUNTRIES
Before travelling to the mpox affected country:
Check and find out the mpox situation in the country
While travelling in the mpox affected country:
Avoid direct skin to skin contact with symptomatic individuals, including sexual
activities
Wash your hands using soap and water or hand sanitizer frequently
Upon arrival in Malaysia (whether transit or entering Malaysia):
Monitor yourself for symptoms of mpox for 21 days
Seek treatment immediately at a nearly health facility if you develop symptoms
Inform the healthcare provider treating you of any recent travel and potential high
risk activities for mpox
3) TRAVELLING INTO MALAYSIA WITH MEDICATION
