ALL MEMBERS OF MERCY MALAYSIA’S EMERGENCY MEDICAL TEAM HAVE BEEN SUCCESSFULLY BROUGHT OUT FROM RAFAH, GAZA

 

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms that all six members of Mercy Malaysia’s Emergency Medical Team (EMT) have been successfully and safely brought out from Rafah, Gaza. They were brought out from the conflict zone by batches along with other international personnel. The batches departed on 23, 24, 28 May 2024, respectively and finally, the last two members left on 31 May 2024.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs wishes to extend its appreciation to all international partners that have provided their full cooperation and commitment in ensuring the safety of the Malaysians until they left the conflict zone.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also takes this opportunity to urge all Malaysians to refrain from travelling to any conflict zones.
