ATTACK ON TURKISH AEROSPACE INDUSTRIES, KAHRAMANKAZAN, ANKARA, TÜRKIYE

 

An attack has been reported on the headquarters of Türkiye’s aerospace and defence company, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) located in Kahramankazan, 40 kilometres north of Ankara, on 23 October 2024, resulting in a number of deaths and injuries.

Malaysia strongly condemns the attack.

Malaysia expresses its deepest condolences and sympathies to the Government of the Republic of Türkiye and the families of those who have lost their lives, and wishes those injured a speedy recovery.

The Embassy of Malaysia in Ankara is closely monitoring the development. No Malaysians have reportedly been affected by the incident. All Malaysians in Türkiye are advised to remain calm, stay vigilant and follow the latest updates and guidance provided by the local authorities.
